Celebrate International Sushi Day at Coco Sushi Lounge & Bar in Delray Beach, FL.

Coco Sushi Lounge & Bar,  one of downtown Delray Beach, Fla., newest restaurants, is an   ideal place to celebrate International Sushi Day on Saturday, June 18.  This holiday was launched to highlight the extremely popular delicacy and to inspire diners to eat and enjoy sushi (and to try different kinds of sushi).  The newest eatery, from co-owners and husband-and-wife team chef Jason Zheng and Tina Wang, serves Asian fusion cuisine for dinner nightly and for Sunday brunch.  Zheng and Wang also own Yakitori Sake House and Saiko-i Sushi Lounge & Hibachi, both in Boca Raton, and Koi Japanese Cuisine & Sushi Lounge in Fort Lauderdale. 

At Coco, located just off trendy Atlantic Ave., in the middle of the De;ray Beach dining and shopping are, food is the star of the show- – fresh fish is delivered Monday through Saturday. Diners can get sushi, sashimi, and specialty rolls; appetizers, noodle dishes; and  main plates. 

For International Sushi Day on June 18th, diners can select from menu items from the Coco Bites menu during two daily Happy Hours from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m, and from 10:00 p.m. – close.  Their Coco Bites menu, featuring an array of appetizers at reduced prices, is available at the bar, at the sushi bar, and throughout the restaurant. 

The Coco Bites menu includes the Tuna Roll, the Salmon Roll, the California Roll, the JB Roll, and the Spicy Tuna Roll, for $6, per roll; the Rainbow Roll, $12; the JB Tempura Roll, $9; the Out of Control Roll, $12; the Sex on the Moon Roll, $12 (shrimp tempura, asparagus, and avocado topped with spicy tuna, tempura flakes, and sweet chili sauce); the Red Dragon Roll, $12 (salmon, avocado, and mango topped with Tiger shrimp, spicy tuna, and spicy mayo); and Triole Sexy, $12 (yellowtail, tuna, salmon, and asparagus topped with seared tuna, spicy mayo, spicy miso, crispy rice, and eel sauce).

Additionally, diners may opt for some enticing appetizers, from the Coco Bites menu, such as the Spring Roll, $4; the Spicy Tuna Tartare, $11; the Fried Pork Gyoza, $4; the Crispy Calamari, $9; the Salmon Carpaccio, $11; the Spicy Tuna Pizza, $11; the Crispy Baby Bok Choy, $8; and the Robata-Grilled Short Ribs, $8.

Happy Hour cocktails for $7, including the Saketini, the Moscow Mule, the Cosmopolitan, the Lychee Martini, the Mango Margarita, the Blueberry Lemonade, and the Pineapple Mojito. 

For International Sushi Day, Coco will also be offering diners an additional promotion between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.–the period between both Happy Hours–of 50 percent off of all specialty cocktails and 50 percent off of all glasses of wine.
