Grand View Lodge, Spa and Golf Resort has named Denise Schultz as senior director of sales and marketing. With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, Schultz is charged with driving top line sales, as well as overseeing revenue and asset management in her new role at the historic resort in Nisswa, MN.

Prior to returning to her home state of Minnesota, Schultz was the director of group sales for HEI Hotels and Resorts leading sales strategy for The Whitley and The Gwen, two Luxury Collection Hotels. Formerly, she held posts with Kimpton Hotels and Resorts in Chicago, including area director of sales and marketing, as well as the opening director of sales and marketing at Kimpton Hotel Palomar Chicago. Throughout her career, she assumed numerous leadership roles with Radisson Plaza Hotel in Minneapolis, Minn. and with Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. Schultz holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin–Stout.
While Grand View Lodge is a historic property, having served guests for more than 100 years, 2019 marked a new era when the iconic resort debuted a 60-room boutique hotel, North, as part of a $50M expansion that also included NorthPark, a new indoor-outdoor recreation center, a intimate chapel and several new real estate developments.
Spread over 750 acres, Grand View Lodge offers a variety of private, luxury lodging options with cabins, townhomes, villas and clubhouse suites dotting the shores of popular Roy and Gull Lake. Owners and guests have access to 2,500 feet of sandy beaches along two lakes, several tennis courts, an indoor pool with waterslide, 54 holes of golf and the Glacial Waters Spa.
