Hospitality veterans, Chris Paciello and Mio Danilovic of Liquid Hospitality, will open Joia Beach, a European-inspired restaurant, on the beachfront key of Watson island, adjacent to Miami’s Jungle Island, in January 2020. Joia Beach is expected to be a premier culinary, entertainment and relaxation destination.
“I am so proud to add Joia Beach to Liquid Hospitality’s growing portfolio,’’ Danilovic said. “We have been working tirelessly to create a truly distinct experience at one of the most stunning locations in Miami and we can’t wait to share it with our future guests.”
The setting at Joia Beach, designed by the worldly-renowned Francois Frossard, creates a South Florida backdrop for guests to lay out and soak up the sun on day beds overlooking Biscayne Bay, while enjoying a meal and cocktails.
Upon arrival, guests will enter through a long and winding pathway encompassed by lush jungle greenery, which seamlessly opens up onto Joia’s pristine beachfront area. A rustic theme will envelop every aspect of the new concept, where guests can look forward to an authentic European-inspired gastronomic selection curated by Chef Erhan Ozkaya, available for lunch and dinner. Hand-crafted signature cocktails will also be available.
The beachside venue will also feature a sunset deck and lounge area, offering guests an active space to enjoy amenities that include board games, full moon yoga, fitness classes led by world-class health and wellness facility Anatomy, live music and weekly DJ’s playing curated playlists.
