South Pointe Tavern, a staple in Miami Beach’s trendy South of Fifth neighborhood (particularly among locals), has joined with Zenith Art and Fashion to create an installation of renowned and emerging artists titled, “Dexterity of Art.”
The exhibit feature intricate metal sculptures by Fernando Cid de Diego, ornate beadwork on handmade sculptures by Novae Artis and industrial Pop Art Collection, “Americonic,” by Lee Arthur Dahlberg. Each art piece makes a terrific companion while sipping some of the more-than 200 whiskeys and more than 80 tequilas at South Pointe Tavern.
Partner Martin Cabrera – over a glass of rare Macallan Edition No. 5 – refers to the Tavern as an “elegant hole in the wall.’’ That’s as good a description as any for South Pointe Tavern, which features comfortable French bistro-style seating and a lounge, nautical-inspired lighting and exposed brick.
South Point Tavern, open seven days per week and has a breakfast menu beginning at 8 am, is a great spot to experience South Beach as the locals see it.
