Here’s another reason why The Biltmore Miami is one of my favorite SoFla destinations.
The historic resort on March 29 will host its Fourth Annual Beer, Bourbon, Burgers and Blues fest, this year featuring the music of Coral Gables native Albert Castiglia.
The event, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., will be in The Biltmore’s Granada Ballroom and feature Merica Bourbon and Estrella Damm beer. Admission (capped at 300) is $45 for the public and $35 for Biltmore members.
In addition to the beer and the cocktails created from Merica Bourbon, the event will offer four kinds of burgers – beef, lamb, shrimp and veggie.
“Everybody loves burgers,’’ said Candy Kakouris, The Biltmore’s director of membership services. “Every year we get a little bit better. This year we wanted to do something that would bring people together in a casual atmosphere with some live music.
“And Alberto enjoys coming back here and playing for his family and friends. In fact, many members of his family are members of the club.’’
