Fort Lauderdale foodies celebrate National Sandwich Day, National Nacho Day

For foodies, November is more than Thanksgiving.

National Sandwich Day is coming up on Nov. 3 and National Nacho Day is Nov. 6.

Here are a couple of my favorite Fort Lauderdale spots to celebrate:

For National Sandwich Day, The Balcony on Las Olas is offering “Lagniappe Shrimp Po’Boy” is Cajun yellow corn crusted with lettuce, tomato, layfayette spicy tartar sauce and is served with a side of southern potato wedges.

Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill offers its “Bo’s Grilled Chicken” with melted aged Wisconsin cheddar, Applewood smoked bacon, crispy jalapeño rings, tangy Carolina bbq sauce, lettuce and tomato and is served on a hoagie roll.

Bokamper’s also offers a Crispy Buffalo Chicken Breast Sandwich, French Dip and Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich.
On National Nacho Day, “Kourtney’s Loaded Nachos” comes with queso, pico de gallo, black olives, jalapeños, guacamole and sour cream. You can even upgrade and add cactus chili (my favorite) or grilled chicken.
