South Florida’s Favorite Spots for Football Watching

The first week of college and NFL football is nearly behind us, but just in case you haven’t decided on a favorite place (or places) to watch the games in South Florida, here are some of my favorites:

WATR at 1 Rooftop

Details: At cloud level, 18 stories above the beach, WATR at 1 Hotel South Beach has unobstructed sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. The newly re-launched roof boasts the same 395-person capacity and square footage, but now features a built-in retractable canopy that fully expands across the seating area of the restaurant.

Bristol’s Burgers at The Diplomat Beach Resort

Details: Half-priced burgers and beers at halftime for anyone in an NFL jersey. Don’t have an NFL jersey but still want to take part? Not to worry, because Bristol’s additionally offers $5 draft beers on game day to celebrate the season.

Lolo’s Surf Cantina

Details: Serving authentic Mexican cuisine at its beachside restaurant, Lolo’s Surf Cantina offers Mexican Dogs, Loaded Fries, wings, Baja Fish and Chips, BBQ Ribs and Mexican beer. Each of the F&B specials
will continue throughout football season and will be offered during Sunday’s lunch services and Monday’s dinner services.

KINGS Dining & Entertainment Doral

Details: Football season is officially starting, and there’s no better place to celebrate than at KINGS Doral. The 20,000 square-foot complex boasts TVs throughout the space with a special “Draft Room” featuring three 15’ LED screens and “best-in-industry’’ game volume.

Duffy’s Sports Grill, All locations

Details: Duffy’s “Seven Ways to Sunday’’ menu includes a seven kinds of nachos dish, such as Tequila Lime Chicken, Chile con Carne and Seasoned Ground Beef. Each Duffy’s has more than 80 big screen HDTV’s to watch the games and offers a daily two-for-one happy hour.

Wild ‘N Out Sports Bar and Arcade

Details: Offering larger than life cocktails, elevated sports bar dishes, and classic arcade games, guests can catch a variety of different sporting events on one of the seven televisions lining the walls. Located on Ocean Drive in South Beach, Wild ’N Out is a great sports bar located on one of the more famous street in all of Miami.
