Prezzo – the Italian trattoria that was a fixture in the northern Palm Beach County, FL., social scene in the 1990s – is now open in Palm Beach Gardens. Located at PGA Commons in Palm Beach Gardens, Prezzo will hold a grand opening event on Dec. 11 from 7 pm to 10 pm.
A red-tiled, wood-fired pizza oven is a key design element and honors the restaurant’s culinary history. Prezzo introduced South Florida to the wood-fired pizza concept in 1989 at its first location in Boca Raton.
“People have great memories of the food and socializing at Prezzo when it was located here in the nineties. We want to introduce that energy and excitement to a whole new generation and bring back the people who loved this place back then,” said Managing Partner Eddie Pozzuoli.
At the Dec. 11 grand opening, guests can sample Prezzo’s Italian classics, have access to an open bar, and live music. Tickets are $50, with 50 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Palm Beach County Food Bank to help alleviate hunger for children, families, and seniors in our community.
