Hall of Fame quarterback (and North Palm Beach County resident) Joe Namath is donating an autographed, pink New York Jets jersey to help raise funds for local breast cancer patients. Visit Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street in October for a chance to win this piece of football memorabilia.
During October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, guests can purchase a $5 ticket for a chance to win the jersey that bears Namath’s famous number 12. Tickets are available at any of the four venues at Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street.
“I have lived in South Florida for more than 50 years, and I wholeheartedly believe in supporting our community. It’s a priority for me and for our team at Love Street,” Namath said.
All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the Margaret W. Niedland Breast Center at Jupiter (FL) Medical Center to help cancer patients navigate their journey through diagnosis and treatment. The winner will be chosen Oct. 31. The effort is part of the #dogood initiative at Lessing’s Hospitality Group, which manages Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street.
Founded on a longtime friendship between Namath and Charles Modica, Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street is the embodiment of their dream to offer an expression of Jupiter’s nautical culture, and deep fishing roots within the community. Located along the waterfront of Jupiter Inlet Village, Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street includes BEACON, Topside at the Beacon, Lucky Shuck Oyster Bar & Taphouse, and The Tacklebox Seafood & Supply Co.
