Staying Local: Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street in Jupiter, Fl.

Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street – the newest “must visit’’ waterfront destination in Jupiter, Fl., has been open only few weeks, but already has fostered relationships with local companies to create exclusive items.

Latin Express Blend Coffee

For example, there is the Love Street House Roast of coffee crafted by Pumphouse Coffee Roasters in Jupiter; Lucky Shuck’s Blend; and the French Press at BEACON. Guests even can brew Love Street’s blend at home by picking up the beans at The Tacklebox.

Love + Passion is one of the 20 beers on draft at Lucky Shuck. The light-bodied, blonde ale is brewed exclusively for the oyster bar and tap house by Barrel of Monks Brewing Company in Boca Raton. Meanwhile, the Love Street Pierced Peach Cider, by Pierced Ciderworks in Ft. Pierce, Fl., is refreshing with a sweet, little bite.

And while you browse Lucky Shuck’s menu of Gulf Coast cuisine, check out gaze the custom-made mural by Chalk & Brush in Miami. The handcrafted wooden art piece honors the old Barden Boating Center, which occupied the property in the 1960s, and complements the restaurant’s resemblance to an early 20th century fishery.

Charlie & Joe’s was founded on a longtime friends Charles Modica and NFL legend Joe Namath, a long-time resident of North Palm Beach County, Fl.

“Our collaborations with local businesses are helping everyone at a time when we could all use a little boost,” said Liz Soulen, director of operations for Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street. “We are helping each other build brand awareness in the community, which has been a fun and, sometimes, tasty process.”

Each of the four venues at Charlie & Joe’s at Love Street feature locally caught seafood and utilize produce from Kai-Kai Farm in Indiantown, Fl., and Swank Specialty Produce in Loxahatchee, Fl.
