The long-awaited Okeechobee Prime Seafood restaurant will officially open March 5 in West Palm Beach. The 138-seat restaurant joins Okeechobee Steakhouse, Okeechobee Prime Meat Market and Okeechobee Prime BBQ in the empire of third generation Okeechobee Steakhouse owners Ralph and Laura Lewis.
A traditional fish house focusing on local and regional seafood, Okeechobee Prime Seafood’s will feature dishes such as local Florida lobster, pompano and snapper in classic, fine-dining preparations with the same impeccable service the Lewis family has been to provide for more than 70 years.
Guests can also get cocktails from the full-service bar and selections from the extensive wine program. Full dinner service is available in the ocean-inspired dining room.
“The seafood concept has been part of our expansion plans for some time,” said Ralph Lewis. “I would like to think that my grandparents would be proud of us and proud of the fact that we are in our 74th year and we are still expanding and growing.”
