Construction is expected to begin as early as December for Panther National, a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Centaur US Holdings is partnering with Nicklaus Design, based in Palm Beach Gardens, to create the private golf enclave, called “Panther National,” within the master-planned community of Avenir. Panther National also will include a nine-hole, Par-3 course and training and practice facility.

Panther National will 459 luxury single-family homes, designed by Miami-based architectural firm Strang Design. Residents will have exclusive access to the club’s dining, spa and fitness, pool, and, in a first for Palm Beach County, a “beach club” located on a planned 10-acre “Crystal Lagoon’’ with white-sand beaches.

Panther National will add to Palm Beach County Nicklaus Design portfolio that includes The Bear’s Club, Trump National Golf Club Jupiter, Loxahatchee Club, The Club at Ibis, North Palm Beach Country Club and the Champion at PGA National Resort.
