Leave Your Heart in South Florida for Valentine’s Day

South Florida really doesn’t need another reason to party, but let’s do Valentine’s Day, anyway. Here’s a look at some of the best sports for V-Day dinners.


Cleo South Beach

Cleo is South Beach’s Mediterranean restaurant that gives diners a sense of intimacy in the midst of the chaotic Collins Avenue. Indulge on dishes such as Brussels Sprout Chips, Madras Curried Cauliflower, Spanakopita, Grilled Branzino, and Tandoori Chicken Kebab. The Valentine’s Day menu will be available for $85 per person.

Diez y Seis

In the heart of South Beach at Shore Club. Led by Chef Jose Icardi, the Mexican eatery will serve a special Valentine’s Day family-style menu on Friday, February 14 for $50 per person. The menu includes passion salad, tuna tostada, caviar guacamole, tuna, New York strip steak, cauliflower and a chef’s special for dessert.

Fi’lia South Beach

This special prix fixe menu includes dishes such as scallops, pasta primavera, snapper with farro salad, braised short rib. For dessert, guests can get panna cotta, tiramisu, or olive oil cake. Fi’lia South Beach’s Valentine’s Day menu is available for $85 per person.


Leynia (South Beach)

For an Argentinian dinner with a touch of Japanese flair, head over to Chef Jose Icardi’s Leynia at Delano South Beach. The Valentine’s Day menu will feature brie cheese empanadas, wagyu beef carpaccio, braised short rib with soaked calabaza puree made with goat cheese and honey. Dessert will include raspberry sake made with torched sudachi meringue or spiced bittersweet chocolate made with ganache, honey mousseline and dulce de leche. Family Style Menu for $115.

Menu includes dishes such as Amuse Bouche with Foie Gras Mousse and Apple Toast; Espresso Braised Pork Belly with Broccoli Rabe and Espresso Demi; Roast ‘Peking Style’ Duck Breast with Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Scallion, Hoisin Allspice Sauce. End it on a sweet note with Vanilla Raspberry Profiteroles with Warm Raspberry and Caramel Sauce.

Sugar Factory

Sugar Factory has crafted a Valentine’s Day menu tasty whereby, for $65 per person, guests can dine from the Prix Fixe menu, with Mac and Cheese Pops for starters and main dishes such as Pan Roasted Salmon. Add some extra flair to your dinner and include the newest and choicest Diamond Rose’ Goble made with Vanderpump Rose by the timeless Lisa Vanderpump, for $89 per person. Desserts will feature Valentine’s Fondue, Dark Chocolate Covered Strawberries and the Valentine’s Day Hearts of Love Insane Milkshake.

Orilla Bar & Grill

Tthis new South of Fifth neighborhood hotspot in Miami Beach has great views of the open kitchen. Menu items include spicy beef empanadas, grilled corn, or tostada mexicana to start; prawn, roasted avocado, and spicy tatemada; black rice with squid, and bacon; flank steak from the Charcoal Grill with Endive Salad. For desserts, there is Pavlova with Acai, Tropical Fruit, Hibiscus, Activated Charcoal, Labneh Homemade.
Valentine’s Day menu $70 per person without beverage


Planta South Beach

Valentine’s Day prix-fixe sharing menu for two includes Ceviche Trio featuring Coconut, Mango and Avocado Ceviche, as well as plant-based croquetas, house-made picadillo empanadas, and paella for two. Conclude the evening on a sweet note with a Dulce de Leche soft serve with nuts and churros. Prix-Fixe Sharing Menu for $65.


Seawell Fish N’ Oyster (Miami Beach)


North of Fifth’s new coastal American seafare concept features a patio covered with teal and white striped awnings and string lights, paired with teak tables, canvas director chairs and floor lanterns. In addition to the regular a la carte menu, Executive Chef Julian Garriga will prepare three special dishes including: Lobster & Foie Gras made with salsify puree, hazelnut, black truffle;, Prawn Risotto made with beet root, fennel agrodolce; and Everything Short Rib with blue crab veloute, sunchoke fritter, from 6PM- 11PM. To top it off, each guest will be treated to a complimentary glass of champagne.


Venue: Le Zoo (Miami Beach)

Celebrate Valentine’s Day enjoying fresh French Mediterranean fare in an elegant ambiance, with inspiration from Parisian sidewalk cafes and the shores of St. Tropez. Le Zoo’s Valentine’s Day will feature King Crab Thermidor for Two; Duck Frites made with a creamy Béarnaise sauce; and Grand Marnier Souffle.


Venue: NaiYaRa

The Valentine’s Day menu at NaiYaRa will include Grilled Octopus, Scallop Crudo, a Special Oyster Shooter, and Stone Crab Ceviche. Don’t forget to toast to a perfect night with chilled Veuve Champagne ($100/btl).

Makoto (Bal Harbour)

With dishes such as eight-ounce Koji Aged Wagyu Striploin and Lobster Udon, Makoto brings sophistication and modern Japanese to Miami.

Upland’s Valentine’s Day special will be Lobster Frites for Two, made with a four-pound lobster, creamy truffle butter and fries, ideal for those looking to indulge in a culinary journey, with Californian influence, Italian inspiration and Miami flare.

In the hustle and bustle of Midtown, Via Emilia Garden transports you to a little part of Italy with its garden and authentic Italian market. Guests receive complimentary champagne on Valentine’s Day.


Habitat at 1 Hotel South Beach

Valentine’s Day specials will include Meyers New York Steak made with wild mushrooms, Bordelaise sauce, Truffle Celeriac Puree and sweet pepper Coulis.
