National Peking Duck Day is Jan. 18. With that in mind, here are two of my favorite Miami dining spots for the Duck.
Komodo (801 Brickell Ave) https://www.komodomiami.com/
David Grutman’s three-story indoor/outdoor eatery and lounge features its signature Peking Duck, served beautifully with cucumber, scallion, pancakes and hoisin sauce for guests to create their own experiences. Combining Southeast Asian cuisine with a South Florida vibe, Komodo also has a variety of Asian-inspired items, such as assorted sushi and nigiri, house-made rice and noodles and cocktails and more.

Hutong Miami (600 Brickell Ave) https://www.hutong-miami.com/
A Contemporary Northern Chinese restaurant and bar, Hutong brings a new light to Roasted Peking Duck. Delicately carved table-side, the whole duck is prepared for 24 hours using a traditional recipe said to have been developed more than 100 year ago for the Emperor. The roasted duck stays crispy on the outside, while the meat remains moist, tender, and flavorful.
