For the 81st consecutive year, June 7 marks the return of National Doughnut Day. What could be better?
Here are a couple of my favorite Fort Lauderdale spots to celebrate the Day of the Donut.
Circle House Coffee
In addition to delivery daily jolts with handcrafted coffee, Circle House Coffee will offer a BOGO with its MOJO Donuts. Founded by retired NFL linebacker Stephen Tulloch, the shop is the only location to permanently carry Mojo Donuts outside of its Pembroke Pines bakery.
Located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas shopping and dining neighborhood, Casa Sensei combines Pan-Asian flavors with the culinary traditions of Latin America. The eatery will offer guests free Thai Donuts with the purchase of two entrees on June 7. Diners have the option of eating on the patio overlooking the Himmarshee canal or via gondola tours along the Fort Lauderdale waterfront. Don’t leave before getting Casa Sensei’s complimentary cotton candy (large enough for a family) and kimchee popcorn.
