1000 North, the outstanding eatery in Jupiter, Fla., will begin offering its summer prix fixe menu on June 2 (Sunday through Thursday), whereby guests get a choice of a starter and an entrée for $47. Or, make it a triple treat by adding the daily dessert for $5 more.
1000 North’s starters include Prawn Cocktail with sauce louie, horseradish, and lemon;
Farmers’ Market Salad of radish, heirloom tomatoes, Gruyère, leek vinaigrette, and avocado;
Street Corn Caesar Salad with Cotija cheese, cornbread crumble, and charred corn relish; and
the soup of the day.
Entrees include Maryland Blue Crabcake, Grilled
Local Market Fish, Joyce Farms Airline Chicken Breast, and the Prime Petite Filet Mignon.
My favorite? The Dijon-Crusted Prime Rib with French onion au jus, horseradish crème
fraîche, and truffle salt fries.
