Palm Beach’s Hai House beginning weekly brunch on Easter Sunday

Hai House on Palm Beach will begin offering a weekly Sunday brunch, beginning on Easter Sunday (April 21), featuring a combination of Chinese-American breakfast items and an extensive dim sum menu.

Hai House’s Sunday brunch is the product of a collaboration with renowned chef Kenny Tang. Tang, who has prepared his exquisitely designed, hand-made dim sum creations for President George W. Bush, President Barack Obama and, most recently, Chinese President Xi Jinping, during their visits to South Florida. Tang is a new culinary collaborator for Collab’s Hai House concept.


“We are very excited to continue developing and exploring our culinary authenticity to match what our guests are telling us they want,” said Collab Hospitality CEO Manuel Bornia. “Our collaboration with Chef Tang brings us to a whole new level of understanding and excellence for our guests.”

The Sunday brunch menu will bring together a variety of Chinese breakfast dishes and Tang’s celebrated hand-crafted dim sum, including scallop dumplings, shrimp har goa, edamame truffle potstickers, pan-fried shrimp potstickers, Pekin duck spring rolls, and lobster tail spring rolls. Dishes will include the signature Li’s Chinese chicken and waffles with maple Sriracha glaze, Mongolian beef and eggs, egg foo young, double egg fried rice, and house-made donuts glazed with Chrysanthemum honey and topped with powdered sugar. Mandarin mimosas and Bloody Marys will be available bottomless for $16.

The new dim sum creations will be available for brunch and daily alongside Hai House’s existing favorites, such as soup dumplings and crispy shrimp, more than doubling the restaurant’s full menu options. All dim sum will also remain a part of Hai House’s popular Dim Sum Happy Hour, offering guests 50 percent off drinks and dim sum every day from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. at the bar.

Hai House’s Sunday brunch will be available from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., beginning on Easter Sunday. The restaurant will also be open for dinner on Easter, offering its regular menu from 4 p.m – 9 p.m.
