Easter Brunch and the Bunny in South Florida

As Easter Sunday (April 21) closes in, here are some great South Florida restaurant choices to hop in (pardon the pun) for the season’s celebration.

Mondrian (South Beach)

The stylish hotel will host a lavish Easter themed brunch at its Mondrian Caffe (11 a.m. to 3 p.m. complete with live acoustic musical performances, children’s Easter egg hunts and complimentary gift bags. Price is $55 per person ($14 per child ages 5-12). Bottomless Grey Goose cocktails will be available for $35 per person throughout brunch, or for $10 each.

Chef action stations include turkey and prime rib carving, sushi station, omelet station and waffles, in addition to assorted bagels, smoked salmon, artisanal cheese and charcuterie, pastries, fresh fruit, Greek yogurt parfait and composed salads. Easter specialties include: Quiche Lorraine, French Toast Berries Casserole, Eggs Benedict Bake and Corned Beef Hash, along with more traditional breakfast classics. The brunch will also feature an assortment of mini desserts and pies.

Terra Mare (Fort Lauderdale)

Adjacent to the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort, Hotel, Terra Mare will offer Easter Brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The menu will include Lump Crab Salad, Maple Glazed Bacon, Harissa Marinated Leg of Lamb and a bevy of sweets. Guests can get creative and design their own Bloody Marys and Mimosas (bottomless). In honor of Easter, Terra Mare will have an Easter Bunny hopping from table to table taking pictures and offering some sweet chocolate treats to all the children at the restaurant. Price is $60 for adults (+ $19 for bottomless mimosas, +24 for bottomless Bloody Mary), $25 for children.

iLove 305 (Miami Beach)

Ocean Drive’s iLov305 is hosting an Easter edition of its “‘See You Next Sunday Brunch’’. Bring the family for brunch on the beach where there will be all-you-can-eat brunch specials, cocktails and music by Ale Drik. “All You Can Eat Brunch’’ will take place from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.. Prices begin at $49 per person featuring menu items such as Toasted Cuban Bread, Eggs Your Way, Ropa Vieja, and Warm Banana Bread. The kids will be entertained with an Easter egg hunt that will feature a very special guest… the Easter Bunny.

Yardbird Southern Table & Bar (Miami Beach)

The popular eatery will host a brunch that will feature favorites such as the Banana Fosters Belgium Waffles, the Maple Bacon Glazed Ham and Eggs served with Stone Ground Grits, and the Maine Lobster Benedict consisting of a buttermilk biscuit crumble topped with bacon lardons, spinach and hollandaise sauce. Classic Southern cooking and hospitality.

Seaspice Brasserie & Lounge (Miami)

Located on the banks of the Miami River with skyline views, the brasserie is offering family style Easter favorites such as deviled eggs and caviar, spring rack of lamb and salt crusted local whole red snapper served table side, as well as a la Carte menu items. Brunch is served from 12 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and dinner service begins at 5 p.m.
