Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach will officially unveil it’s new clubhouse, with a ribbon-ceremony featuring Jack Nicklaus on Nov. 17 at 5:45 p.m.
The new $9.2 million clubhouse at Bear Lakes Country Club in West Palm Beach will unveil its new, $9.2 million clubhouse on Nov. 17 at 5:45 p.m. Jack and Nicklaus Barbara Nicklaus, who live in nearby North Palm Beach, will be in attendance, as will former PGA Tour Champions star Dana Quigley – a longtime member of the club.
Bear Lakes Country Club opened in 1984 and features two, 18-hole courses designed by Nicklaus.
“When it comes to golf, no name commands more respect than Jack Nicklaus,” said Bear Lakes Country Club President Kevin Richardson. “Our courses are known and sought after by golfers of all levels because they want to play on courses designed by the man who has won a record 18 professional major championships and has created some of the most iconic courses and venues in the world. We are so honored to have him give his blessing as we refresh and rebrand ourselves to meet the growing demands of our current and future members.”
“Bear Lakes Country Club has an impressive history with golf,” said General Manager Marius Ilie. “This renovation redefines the experience we can offer members beyond the greens. Members can expect dining venues on par with the top local restaurants, a casually elegant social environment, and a family-friendly atmosphere where they will want to spend their free time.”
Bear Lakes’ renovated and updated 22,000-square-foot clubhouse includes three dining options; fully stocked golf and tennis pro shops; and men’s and ladies’ locker rooms.
