Waldorf Astoria Park City – one of my favorite mountain retreats – it has received several of the world’s top travel awards — ‘Best Spa in North America’ from The World Spa Awards and ‘Top Ten Resorts in the West’ from Condé Nast Travelers’ Readers’ Choice Awards.
Spa tourism’s highest accolade, the World Spa Awards serve as the definitive benchmark of excellence. This is the first year a Utah spa has ever made the award nominations at any level. Votes for the award were cast by leading spa and wellness tourism professionals, as well as hundreds of thousands of spa consumers from across the globe.
“Being named The Best Hotel Spa in the United States for 2018 in the World Spa Awards is a huge and humbling honor,” said Amy Mullen, director of the Waldorf Astoria Park City. “We work tirelessly to deliver an extraordinary spa experience for our guests, and this accolade is a testament to our wonderful team’s dedication, attention to detail and passion.”
Waldorf Astoria Park City is located at the base of new Park City Mountain Resort. The hotel’s 16,000-square-foot spa includes 15 treatment rooms featuring signature treatments, a custom-designed fitness center as well as a full-service hair and nail salon. The facility is dedicated to fostering a balance of mind, body and spirit through a personalized program that draws on local products, environmental inspiration and contemporary techniques. In 2019, the spa will also finalize renovations to its fitness center, which will look out over the pool deck with views of the Wasatch surrounding mountains.
The Condé Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice Award is one of the world’s most important and coveted hospitality awards. Waldorf Astoria Park City was awarded ‘Top 10 best resorts in the U.S. West,’’ a distinction granted by the hundreds of thousands of readers who vote in each year’s contest.
