JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country debuts resort and spa day pass program

One of my favorite Southwest resorts – JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa – has launched a new resort and spa day pass program called Resort Pass for those living in or visiting San Antonio but not staying at the resort.

Non-resort guests are now welcome to experience the nine-acre River Bluff Water Experience and 26,000 square-foot Lantana Spa for the day with their new day pass program.

In addition to River Bluff and Lantana Spa, the resort features the 36-hole TPC San Antonio golf course, seven restaurants, and 288,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

Prior to the debut of Resort Pass, the resort’s water park was only available to guests as a part of the elevated resort experience. Spa day passes were also available to guests staying on property.

The new Resort Pass provides locals and non-guests the opportunity to escape for the day to experience five water slides, including two 47-foot tall body slides, multiple activity pools, the 1,100-foot long lazy river, a sandy beach, multiple whirlpools and private cabanas. Each of the pools is heated when weather appropriate giving guests more access to enjoy the water experience year-round.

“We’re thrilled to be able to now invite our local community to the resort to enjoy our incredible River Bluff Water Experience and the luxurious Lantana Spa,” said Jaclyn Cummings, director of resort experience, JW Marriott San Antonio. “The resort day pass will allow our neighbors to have another exciting option when looking for something to do with the whole family, or a place to enjoy with a group of friends. We’re anxious to welcome our San Antonio community to our beautiful property.”
