Country star John Michael Montgomery to play Seminole Casino Coconut Creek

Award-winning country music artist John Michael Montgomery will perform in The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Aug. 17, at 8 p.m.

​Montgomery began singing with his brother Eddie, who later became half of the Montgomery Gentry duo. After beginning his major-label solo career in 1992, the Kentucky native has had more than 30 singles appear on the Billboard country charts, seven of which reached Number One.

His hits  include “I Love the Way You Love Me,” “I Swear,” “Be My Baby Tonight,” If You’ve Got Love,” “I Can Love You Like That,” “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident),” and “The Little Girl.”


Montgomery has released 10 studio albums to date. His first three albums were each  certified multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America, while one other was certified platinum and another certified gold.

In 2008, Montgomery founded his own label, Stringtown Records, and he released the album Time Flies. It produced three singles on the country charts.
