Bourbon, World Cup highlight June at Hilton West Palm Beach

When Galley at Hilton West Palm Beach wanted to makeover its tableside whiskey tipples in commemoration of National Bourbon Day on June 14 – a leader in small batch bourbon whiskeys. Galley sourced one of Knob Creek’s Single Barrel Reserve, a top-shelf bourbon aged naturally in new, charred American white oak barrels for nine years then bottled at 120 proof, for the Day.

Here’e a look at Galley’s duo of cocktails (each $14) that will feature Knob Creek’s Single Barrel Reserves.

Whiskey Smash: A citrusy cousin of the Mint Julep that includes Knob Creek bourbon, fresh berries, Angostura bitters, and sugar.

Smoked Old Fashioned: Mixed with Knob Creek bourbon, house bitters, orange bitters, and Demerara sugar, this Kentucky-inspired cocktail will be presented in a brandy glass and smoked with wood chips before serving.
