Make it a family affair for Mother’s Day in South Florida

Looking for some fun and delish SoFla places to take Mom for Mother’s Day on May 13?

Here’s a look at few of my favorites:

Josie’s Ristorante in Boynton Beach has a special menu for Mother’s Day that includes Challah French Toast with rum soaked bananas and crisp smoked bacon; Black Truffle Burger with truffle, Romano cheese, black truffle aioli, arugula and peppered bacon; Crab and Lobster Cake Benedict on an English muffin with Old Bay hollandaise and crisp potatoes.

Other dishes include a homemade granola parfait, smoked salmon platter, eggs Florentine, eggs benedict, a frittata with broccoli rabe, omelets, pan roasted salmon filet, chicken rigatoni, chopped salad antipasti and more. Bottomless mimosas, white sangria and Bloody Mary’s are available for $13 with the purchase of an entrée.

In addition, Pasty Chef Ashley Roehrig will be preparing her 16-layer chocolate cake, bananas foster bread pudding and more.

At Louie Bossi’s, Big City Tavern and City Oyster, kids child eats free on Mother’s Day. One child eats free with any mom, with the purchase of an entree.

Louie Bossi’s, with highly-acclaimed Italian restaurants in Boca Raton and Fort Lauderdale, is known for its homemade pastas, breads and pizzas. The menu also includes steaks and charcuterie aged in house.

City Oyster & Sushi Bar in Delray Beach is a Big Time Restaurant Group restaurant featuring fresh seafood, a full sushi bar and a rotating selection of fresh oysters from the East and West Coast.

Big City Tavern, on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, is a classic American restaurant serving fresh seafood, steaks, pasta, salads and more. Each day, desserts, pastas, breads and gelato are all house-made.
