The Third Annual Tap Takeover and Brewmaster’s Dinner, which has become one of the highlights of the early Spring season, will be April 14 at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa in Manalapan, Fla.
Guests will receive complimentary samplings from some of the area’s favorite local breweries, including Due South, Copperpoint, Tequesta, Funky Buddha, NOBO and Sailfish Brewery while taking in ocean views and live music by Brad Schechter.
NOBO (North Boynton) and Sailfish Brewery from Fort Pierce each are first-timers to the event, which is directed by Eau Palm Beach Cicerone Bryan Long.
“The craft beer scene in the area is constantly growing and evolving,’ Long said.
Samplings will be available poolside and Breeze Ocean Kitchen from 11 am to 5 pm. At 7 pm, the Brewmaster’s Craft Beer Dinner ($65 per person) will feature six local brewmasters showcasing limited-edition craft brews alongside food paring from the resort’s culinary team.
“Each brewery has a different course instead of just one brewery doing the dinner with different beers,’’ Long said. “And we’ll have a brewer’s table, where the different brewers can have dinner together.’’
