With nearly three decades of service and leadership in the hospitality industry, Paul Joseph has been appointed to general manager of Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress. The announcement follows the recent retirement of Pat Engfer, a Hyatt veteran of 40 years. Joseph was recently general manager of Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.
A landmark resort in Orlando and Central Florida, the 815-room Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress offers six food and beverage experiences, more than 65,000 square feet of high-end indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, a full-service spa and preferred access to 45-holes of Jack Nicklaus signature-designed golf courses.
The resort is located near Walt Disney World theme parks, the Disney Springs outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment district and Wide World of Sports. In addition, the resort benefits from its proximity to demand generators such as Universal Orlando Resort, Sea World Orlando, the Orange County Convention Center and downtown Orlando.
