Miranda Cuisine & Bar, an off-the-beaten-path restaurant located inside the chic EB Hotel in Miami Springs, Fla., will be presenting for the first time at this year’s South Wine & Food Festival, Feb.21-25.

Miranda Cuisine & Bar serves upscale international food with Latin touches, including traditional Venezuelan favorites created by Venezuelan-born Executive Chef Jose Pacheco. A​t Goya Foods’ Grand Tasting Village,​ ​Pacheco ​will be demonstrating a Pork Belly Chicharron with watercress salad, tonkatsu glaze, and togarashi​.

Pacheco upgrades his hometown’s street food to match the formality of a dinner setting, offering techniques that are approachable and delicious.​ After receiving training in Europe at the Four Season​s​ London and in Madrid with Michelin-starred Chef Paco Roncero, Pacheco built his career in luxury hotels and restaurants in South America, Europe, and the U.S.
