Think Hospitality Group gives historic Clinton Hotel a new look

An anchor in Miami Beach’s up and coming Washington Avenue district, the historic Clinton Hotel has undergone a multi-million-dollar renovation, introducing new guest rooms, restaurant, pool and beach club. The four-story boutique hotel is the latest from Think Hospitality, the owners and operators of The Plymouth Miami Beach, Boulan South Beach, South Beach Hotel (SBH), popular restaurant Orange Blossom and Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill.

Clinton Hotel’s renovations combine its classic Art Deco elegance with Key West flair only steps away from the beach and Miami’s famed Collins Avenue shopping destination.

“Upon purchasing The Clinton Hotel, we immediately envisioned its future as a four star property in one of the most sought after locations in Miami Beach. As a unique part of South Beach’s illustrious history and we wanted to utilize as much of that rich history in our renovation,” said Shawn Vardi, COO at Think Hospitality Group. “We restored the lobby to its original layout and were even able to recover the original 1930’s Spanish tile while incorporating modern elements and introducing a new food and beverage outlet.’’

Clinton Hotel’s 88-guest and suite rooms each have large windows with city views, as well as custom furnishings, plush beds with tufted headboards, luxurious bed and bath linens and marble bathrooms. Suite appointed rooms feature king beds and separate living areas with two full bathrooms.

Clinton Hotel’s private courtyard features a dipping pool, lounge chairs and cabanas. The hotel also has on-site meeting spaces for corporate meetings and events, including an indoor room that seats 40 with adjoining garden terrace. Beach access is available at 8th Street, including amenities including complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas.

The hotel will soon open Falsa Limonada, a Brazilian-inspired restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with indoor, outdoor and poolside seating options.

From the Brazilian phrase “cheating on lemonade” Falsa Limonada will serve an assortment of Brazilian fare, including pineapple roasted meats, steak and rice.
