Since 2014, West Palm Beach locals have recognized Avocado Grill as one of the hottest downtown restaurants. This past January, Owner/Executive Chef Julien Gremaud opened a second location in Palm Beach Gardens.
The restaurant has brought its popular weekend brunch tradition, Saturday and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to North County. Sundays feature Bloody Mary cocktails, food specials and live music by DJ Adam Lipson. The festivities are a prelude to weekday lunch service that run from Monday – Friday from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Avocado Grill in Palm Beach Gardens – nicknamed “AG2” – is located on the first level of the bustling Downtown at the Gardens shopping center next to West Elm.
The new weekend brunch menu includes Beets and Warm Goat Cheese Salad with arugula, caramelized apples and pecans topped with melted Spanish goat cheese crostini; the Three Egg Scramble with bacon, toast, and home fries; or the AG Benedict’s perfectly cooked eggs served over English muffins with guacamole, smoked salmon and truffle hollandaise sauce.
There are also several gluten-free items such as Grilled Avocado Wedges with spiced mango and watermelon salad; and Toast-Less Avocado Toast with sliced tomatoes, guacamole, sliced avocado and grilled corn salsa, feta, chopped kale and candied walnuts.
Lunch guests can choose from several AG’s signature farm-to-table fresh plates Monday to Friday, including Ceviche with snapper, mahi, calamari, bay scallops, red onion and aji Amarillo; Mushroom Fricassee with cheddar grits, truffle oil and chives; Spiced Lamb Slider with cucumber, feta yogurt and paprika aioli; and Octopus with chorizo, fingerling potatoes, marcona almonds and smoked paprika aioli.
Dinner is served Monday to Thursday from 5 – 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturdays from 5 – 11 p.m. The new menu offers the same dinner favorites as the West Palm Beach location as well as new items such as Blow Torch Salmon with cucumber, jicama, mango and charred green onion sauce; and the BBQ Brisket Sandwich on marble rye with sharp cheddar cheese and avocado jalapeño dressing, cabbage slaw and plantains.
