Re-designed Kimpton Angler’s South Beach hotel to open this Spring

This Spring, Kimpton Angler’s South Beach will unveil its new designed spaces and the addition of 85 guest rooms and suites with the completion of its new tower on Washington Avenue, just steps from the Atlantic Ocean and Miami Beach’s famed Art Deco District.

Kimpton Angler’s is the third hotel in Kimpton’s Miami portfolio, together with Kimpton Epic Miami and Surfcomber Hotel. Guests can now book for stays beginning June 1, 2018.

With the opening of its new tower, Kimpton Angler’s will more than double its inventory to include a total of 132 guest rooms and suites, offering floor plans ranging in size from 400 to 1,000 square feet. It’s an uncommon mix of accommodations that includes modern and airy studios with terraces; two-story lofts with living areas and spiral staircases leading up to second bedroom levels; two-story villas situated amongst lush gardens with their own secluded private entrance; two-story spa villas with two full baths, private patio and Jacuzzi; and three-story poolside bungalows with private rooftop terraces, outdoor showers and lounge areas.

“Together with the genuine customer care and service that have become hallmarks of the Kimpton brand, Kimpton Angler’s refreshed design and sophisticated experience provide the quintessential ‘getaway’ for visitors to Miami – an understated luxury retreat at the center of it all that is brimming with social cache,” said Jacqueline Lejart, general manager, Kimpton Angler’s.

Conceived by San Francisco-based interior designer Nicole Hollis, Kimpton Angler’s contrasts the use raw materials, hand-hewn works, and custom-designed pieces to create an aesthetic that is described as “sophisticated yet raw; rough but with polish.’’

Outside, the hotel, at one time frequented by Earnest Hemingway, features Old World European mystique, hidden nooks, and gardens, while hints of its’ nautical past remain throughout the property.

In addition, Kimpton’s Angler will have a new rooftop pool and sundeck, and a new restaurant and bar concept that will replace the existing 660 at Angler’s.
