Avant (www.avantdelray.com), one of Delray Beach’s newer restaurants, has launched a lavish Sunday brunch at prix fixe price of $29.50 per person ($15.50 per person, kids ages 7 to 11).
Seatings are available from 10:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and includes four stations with an omelet bar, chafing station, salads and fresh fruits and breads. Waiters visit each table with a variety of small plates, as well as desserts.
Bottomless mimosas, beermosas and bloody Marys are available for $14.50 per person. An a la carte full bar also is available.
Small plates feature a variety of Avant’s signature dishes, including eggs benedict, French toast such as the ‘ELVIS’ with peanut butter, banana and bacon or bananas foster French toast, meatballs, sliders and tacos. Small plate offerings on the brunch menu change regularly.
Chafing station offerings include penne primavera, drunken mussels, bacon, sausage and home fries.
The custom omelet bar features fresh made whole egg or egg white omelets. Guests can choose from more than a dozen different vegetables, cheeses and breakfast meats that can be added to their omelets.
The salad station includes mixed organic greens, kale, cucumber, beets, tomato, onion, mushrooms, carrots, house made pickled red onions and a selection of house made dressings.
