“This year marks an influential time for the Sagamore Hotel, as we endure long-lasting relationships with the art and cultural community. We’ve created a platform to allow both recognized and up-and-coming talent to utilize the property to present their creativity whether it be through art, music, fashion or food,” said Ronit Neuman, Sagamore Hotel’s Co-Principal.

URBAN LEGENDS pays homage to the culture and history of urban street art and allows artists to communicate directly with the public at large. These artists often show socially relevant content infused with aesthetic value to attract attention and to a cause a form of Art Provocation.

“Urban artists are a testimony of our societies and are our contemporary poets. Through their works, they share our stories and discuss the evolution of our world, they are telling our modern legends,” said  Sebastien Laboureau, Sagamore Hotel’s Art Advisor, and urban art specialist.

During Miami Art Week, Sagamore will showcase some of today’s most influential names in the urban art community through an ongoing exhibit and live happenings.
