MOD Pizza opens first Florida location in Parkland

MOD Pizza has opened its first Florida location in Parkland in Broward County. MOD serves individual, artisan-style pizzas that are made on demand in minutes, using fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces. Customers can create their own pizzas and salads, using any combination of over 30 featured toppings, or they can choose from a menu of MOD classics all for a fixed price of $7.97.

One hundred percent of all of the pizza sales on opening day (Oct. 24) were donated to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, a local South Florida non-profit founded by Chicago Cubs First Baseman and South Florida native Anthony Rizzo, which raises money for cancer research and provides support to children and their families battling the disease.

BBX Capital is the exclusive franchisee for the MOD Pizza brand for the state of Florida and has signed an agreement to develop up to 60 MOD locations throughout the state over the next five to seven years. BBX Capital has plans to open three additional MOD stores in Florida in the next few months with locations confirmed for Jacksonville, Coral Springs and Kendall.

MOD Parkland is now open Monday through Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. To learn more about MOD, please visit www.modpizza.com or watch the MOD Difference Video.
