MOD Pizza has opened its first Florida location in Parkland in Broward County. MOD serves individual, artisan-style pizzas that are made on demand in minutes, using fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces. Customers can create their own pizzas and salads, using any combination of over 30 featured toppings, or they can choose from a menu of MOD classics all for a fixed price of $7.97.
One hundred percent of all of the pizza sales on opening day (Oct. 24) were donated to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation, a local South Florida non-profit founded by Chicago Cubs First Baseman and South Florida native Anthony Rizzo, which raises money for cancer research and provides support to children and their families battling the disease.
