The Wynwood Yard in Miami has named Chef Julie Frans as Director of Community and Culinary. With her new role, Frans will lead The Yard’s commitment to provide a community space that educational and empowering family-friendly events that promote health, wellness and the importance of our Earth’s sustainability.
Frans, Chief Operating Officer / Chef at Large at della test kitchen test kitchen, began at The Wynwood Yard when she led a Slow Food Miami “Chef Alliance” farm tour for industry members.
“Living healthfully means taking care of yourself and paying attention to your inner guru. It also means living in moderation, not being too hard on yourself, and living in a way that brings joy and connection- whatever that means for you,” Frans said. “Living healthfully also means living in balance with our environment and making decisions that are sustainable to this planet that supports us.”
