San Juan Hotel, a Puerto Rico a luxury beach destination, has unveiled a renovated Well & Being Spa and wellness facility. Managed by Trilogy Spa Holdings, a fast-growing boutique operator of high-end spas in luxury hotels and resorts, Well & Being Spa at El San Juan Hotel features fully-customized wellness experiences, including a fitness-centric menu of cutting-edge classes and luxury spa therapies inspired by the beachfront destination.
Well & Being Spa at El San Juan Hotel marks the first extension of the Well & Being brand at a beach property, bringing a fusion of health, wellness and fitness to the recently renovated hotel.
Currently available at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas and Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa, the Well & Being concept of evidence-based healthy living utilizes a community of accomplished spa, fitness and health professionals led by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, a distinguished expert in integrative medicine. Offering a vast array of treatments and experiences, each Well & Being is designed to provide guests with personalized coaching and cutting-edge health and wellness tools for immediate and long-lasting results.
“The demand for more immersive wellness travel experiences continues to grow, and our partnership with El San Juan Hotel was a natural next step for the brand,” said David Stoup, chairman of Trilogy Spa Holdings. “By providing guests with a knowledgeable, supportive and hands-on spa and fitness team, our intent is to inspire our visitors, motivating them to make wellness an engaging, social and educational element of their business trip or leisure vacation.”
Part of a complete hotel renovation, the 4,400 square-foot Well & Being Spa features seven treatment rooms and one couples suite. The menu includes a number of services designed specifically for this beachfront spa, such as Well & Being’s Après Sun treatment, which helps prevent sun damage through the healing properties of sea fennel, Irish moss and green algae extract.
Separate from the spa, a newly constructed, multi-level 5,000 square-foot fitness center with a 1,900 square-foot usable roof, provides space for a greater range of fitness offerings, including the introduction of new group classes such a FloatFIT, a low-impact class featuring HIIT workouts on water, and Vertical Wall Yoga, a practice that allows guests to flip upside down for a deeper stretch. The outdoor rooftop fitness area – known as the Functional Fitness Skylab – allows for programming such as sunset yoga, TRX and outdoor Boot Camp sessions overlooking the surrounding skyline and resort pool complex. The fitness center offers a comprehensive selection of Matrix cardio and strength equipment as well as an Active Motion Studio for In-Trinity, Vertical Wall Yoga and indoor group cycling sessions.
