From The Parched Pig to The Parched Oyster? Not quite, but on National Oyster Day (Aug. 5), The Parched Pig in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., will be offering up a half dozen oysters paired with a choice of rosé, sparkling wine and beer for $20.
From 4 pm to 11 pm, guests can slurp down two each of the special oyster selections of the day, which consist of Chefs Creek, Little Island and Pink Moon, and wash it down with a rosé, sparkling wine or a glass of Brave Tart – Cucumber Lime & Sea Salt, the perfect match to those briny little mouthfuls of seafood delight.
The Parched Pig is the latest endeavor from husband and wife team, Tim and Jenny Lipman. It delivers local and regional beers along with wine favorites in a sophisticated atmosphere. Light bites, including the ever-popular oysters and charcuterie (my favorite) also make up the menu.
