Grand Hyatt Baha Mar now open. The artistically designed Bahamas resort is the first of three properties to open its doors at the largest and most ambitious development in the Western Hemisphere, breathing new life into the island and bringing the highly-anticipated, vision of Baha Mar Resort to reality.
Situated on Nassau’s Northern Shore, the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar sits along the white sand beaches of Cable Beach. Furnished with island-inspired décor and luxurious amenities, all 1,800 guestrooms and suites offer views of the ocean, fountains and island from private balconies.
The resort’s pastel hues of peach, cyan and green along with vibrant tones of deep blue permeate the property. The curated décor features works commissioned by local artists and architectural subtleties that emulate natural cliffs and craters found among the waters (including a replica of the world’s second deepest known salt water sinkhole, Dean’s Blue Hole).
Grand Hyatt Baha Mar is home to seven multi-level pools with swim-up bars and aquariums, a flamingo sanctuary, the Caribbean’s largest casino (one of the only in the world to have direct beach views), a Jack Nicklaus Signature Design golf course, and the Caribbean’s only luxury ESPA spa.
The resort also has more than 20 food and beverage outlets that range from casual standalone daquiri and conch shacks and pastel airstream trucks serving authentic Caribbean fare to upscale Mediterranean and pan-Asian cuisine.
