The South Florida town of Surfside is fast becoming a culinary mecca. A prime example is Serendipity Creamery. The family-owned shop is the brainchild of longtime Surfside resident, Jessica Levison.
Serendipity Creamery features 24 eclectic flavors, such as toasted coconut, pear riesling sorbet, pistachio, breakfast cereal, lychee sorbet, pecan pie, lavender orange and salted caramel. All ice cream and sorbets are homemade, as well as popular toppings, like marshmallows, cookie dough and peanut butter cups.
For those who can get enough of Surfside – pre- or post-ice cream – consider grabbing a bite at Josh’s Deli; stroll along scenic Harding Avenue, Surfside’s downtown district; tour Turtle Walk to view the public art display
