Summer School Beer Series begins June 5 at The Parched Pig in PB Gardens

Now the summer is getting serious.

The Parched Pig in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., will be hosting a weekly beer series highlighting craft beers from all of the U.S. and from around the globe.

Each Monday during the summer, The Parched Pig will highlight a different group of breweries with a specific beer selection featured every Monday. A brewery representative or “visiting professor” will be on site to answer any beer questions while patrons quench their thirsts and dine on small bites of food pairings by Chef Tim Lipman.

The Parched Pig is the latest endeavor from husband and wife team, Tim and Jenny Lipman. The eatery delivers local and regional beers along with wine favorites, along with light bites, including oysters and charcuterie.

The Summer School Beer Series is set to kick off June 5 with “The Classics” highlighting Bell’s Brewery and featuring Oarsman Ale, a tart and refreshing wheat ale that exudes citrus and lemony aromas and Pooltime Ale, a Belgian-inspired wheat ale with light clove notes that uses 100 percent Montmorency tart cherries.
