The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort has named Franck Steigerwald as Executive Chef. Chef Steigerwald will oversee all culinary operations including the luxury resort’s newest restaurant concept Atlantikós, along with BH Burger Bar, The St. Regis Bar & Sushi Lounge, La Gourmandise, in-room dining, weddings and events. The French chef brings more than 12 years of industry experience with him to The St. Regis Bal Harbour, located just north of Miami Beach. www.stregisbalharbour

Throughout his career, Chef Steigerwald has served as executive chef at various high-profile properties including The Ritz-Carlton, Buckhead, The St. Regis New York, Taj Hotels in Boston and The Ritz-Carlton, Naples. Prior to that, he was the executive sous chef at The Ritz-Carlton, Tyson’s Corner.
A native of France, Chef Steigerwald’s culinary skills were honed in the kitchens of several Michelin-star restaurants in South of France including Hotel Chateau Grand Barrail, Hotel Les Pyrennées and Le Chapon Fin.
“I am very much looking forward to sharing my passion for cooking with The St. Regis Bal Harbour guests,” Chef Steigerwald said. “It’s my goal to provide a culinary experience from first sip to last bite that leaves our guests with cherished memories.”
Steigerwald will oversee operations at the recently opened Atlantikós restaurant, which takes guests on a journey of exceptional flavors throughout the Greece, in addition to BH Burger Bar featuring customizable “build-your-own” burgers with elevated ingredients and The St. Regis Bar & Sushi Lounge, which features an exclusive selection of the world’s finest champagnes, rare vintage wines, and hand crafted cocktails, complemented by an innovative menu of Sushi. Additionally, Steigerwald will oversee banquet and catering operations, creating custom menus for the resort’s extraordinary weddings and social events.
