The Langford Hotel in Miami will host Emilio Robba, the world’s most recognized name in botanical art for Art Basel Miami. Robba will feature a collection of his sculptural floral arrangements in the Sky Lobby for the reception on Nov. 30, where complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served.
Known as the official “sculptor of flowers,” Robba has shown at galleries around the world, including the Paris, Japan, Russia, Morocco, China, the Middle East and North America, not excluding the Miami Design District.
Robba previously constructed a flamingo botanical sculpture that currently resides in the Sky Lobby at The Langford Hotel. The international designer’s innate understanding of nature combined with his experiences gained as a world traveler make him an excellent partner for Downtown Miami’s only truly historic hotel.
Robba’s Art Basel collection will be featured in the Sky Lobby Dec. 1-4 from noon until 8 p.m.
The reception will take place in the Sky Lobby on Nov. 30 from 6-9 p,m. If you’re interesting in attending, RSVP to RSVP@workshopcollective.com.
