Boston’s on The Beach launching Blue Tuesdays music series Oct. 4 in Delray Beach

Boston’s on The Beach, one of South Florida’s more popular bars and entertainment venues, on Oct. 4 will launch will launch its weekly Blue Tuesdays series with a star-studded salute to the legacy of Don Cohen, the legendary blues promoter and founder of the original Musicians Exchange. bostonsonthebeach.com/bluetuesdays.

Hosted by “Famous” Frank Ward, along with co-hosts Dar Lopez and Sylvia Reibel, the free music series in Delray Beach kicks off with The Don Cohen Reunion Show, a special tribute spotlighting his remarkable contributions to the South Florida music community. From jump blues to R&B and gospel, the evening will spotlight the smooth sounds of the finest blues artists from the Mississippi Delta to Memphis. Live performances by blues greats include Sheldon Voss, Motel Mel, Captain Reese, Joey Gilmore, Hi Hat Carter, Maurice Dukes, Delta Nick, The Allnighters, Jeff Prine, Richie & Tess Schmidt, Jerry Mascaro, Tim Kuchta, Jerry Crepeau, Stan Waldman, Graham Drout, John Wentzel, Ken Burkhart and Piano Bob Wilder.

Blue Tuesdays will also feature food and drink specials, including the boozy Nucklebuster Smash and Boston’s very own A1A IPA

Blue Tuesdays’ performances (no cover) on the Boston’s stage will be from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., every Tuesday evening.
