“From multi-generational families to corporate and social groups, many travelers visiting Orlando today are seeking more than just hotel rooms – they want luxurious accommodations, space and the comforts of home,” said Jim Bagley, managing director and asset manager, Encore Capital Management. “We are thrilled to introduce a development that will offer all of these things, and more, just minutes from some of the best golf, shopping, dining and experiences in the world.”
Reunion Resort, with courses design by Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Tom Watson, is located just a few miles west of the Orlando theme parks area.
Bear’s Den Club is a private gated enclave that will feature Orlando’s highest-end vacation homes with panoramic views. Set to break ground in November 2016, Bear’s Den Club – designed with personal input from Nicklaus himself – will include privately-owned vacation homes surrounding the 18th hole of Reunion Resort’s Jack Nicklaus Tradition Course. Owners and renters will have access to Reunion’s restaurants, three golf courses, pools, tennis pavilions, waterparks and biking and hiking trails.
A private Bear’s Den Clubhouse will showcase memorabilia commemorating Nicklaus’ Hall of Fame career.
“We’ve definitely saved the best for last with The Bear’s Den Club, as it truly is the perfect culmination to Reunion Resort,” said Bagley. “We look forward to welcoming golf fans and travelers into this extraordinary, one-of-a-kind community.”
While Nicklaus has spent much of his retirement focusing on golf-course construction and design, Bear’s Den Club will be his first vacation home project in the area.
