Hemingway’s at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress to debut Flavors of Summer menu

Hemingway’s, the signature restaurant at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, is offering a summer pre-fixe, three-course menu, beginning Aug. 15 that will feature many of “Papa’s” seasonal favorites (www.grandcypress.regency.hyatt.com).

“Our summer menu serves as a showcase for the high quality, fresh ingredients the season delivers,” says Executive Chef David Didzunas. “Each course was designed to capture the essence of the islands and provide guests with a truly decadent experience.”

Here’s a look at the menu:

– Salad: Key Wester Salad or Key Lime Caesar

· Entrée: Hemingway’s “Cayo Hueso” Crab Cakes (my favorite), Duvall Street Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Creole or Key West Coast Black Grouper

· Dessert: Key Lime Tart or Mango Cheesecake

Starting at $69 per couple, the three-course #FlavorsOfSummer menu can be paired with Canvas wines for $89 per couple.

The 1,500 acre Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress resort is one of Central Florida’s landmark properties, featuring the Marilyn Monroe Spa, 45 holes of Jack Nicklaus-designed golf, bike trails and a half-acre lagoon pool. Now through Aug. 31, guests can get the #SunshineOnSale special offer with a night free.  Stay a minimum of four consecutive nights and receive the fifth night free, plus a $50 resort credit per stay to use toward resort food and beverage purchases, including the Flavors of Summer menu at Hemingway’s. Rates start at $179 for accommodations.
